Ping Control

The Ping Control page is the primary place to monitor your relay traffic. It shows aggregate stats and a grouped table that updates as pings flow through the Relay.

Filtering

All filters on the Ping Control page affect both the stat dashboard and the table simultaneously.

By time

The date range selector controls the period shown across the whole page.

Last 14 days

Custom Period

Pick a specific date range

By entity

Use the entity selectors to narrow the view to specific Publishers, Campaigns, Buyers, or Targets. Select multiple items from the same category to compare them side by side.

An Accounts selector appears alongside the entity selectors when your organization has more than one connected account. Use it to filter by account before drilling into publishers or campaigns.

Saving filters as a View

The Save button opens a dialog where you name the current filter configuration and choose an access level:

Access level

Who can see it

Private

Only you

Team

Everyone in your org

Active View Panel

When a saved View is loaded, the Save button is replaced by the Active View Panel. It shows:

  • The view name

  • An access level tag (Private or Team)

If you own the loaded View, one additional control appears:

  • Update — overwrites the saved View with the current filter state, no dialog.

The X button is always visible to any user and deactivates the View without deleting it. The filter state remains but is no longer linked to the saved View.

Stats dashboard

The table

The Ping Control table shows entities as rows with ping stats. Click any row to open that Entity's detail window.

Grouping

The grouping chips at the top of the table control how rows are organized:

  • Publishers / Campaigns / Targets — three-level hierarchy. Chips select which level is shown.

  • Buyers toggle — replaces the Targets slot with Buyers and adds Targets as child rows under each Buyer.

  • Custom — click levels in the desired order to build a custom grouping hierarchy.

Table filter

  • Show Only New — limits the view to entities flagged as new (blue dot in the table). This filter panel only appears when at least one new entity exists in the current data.

  • Relay On only / Relay Off only — filters to targets with relay enabled or relay disabled respectively. These toggles are only available when Targets are part of the current grouping (i.e. Targets or Buyers+Targets grouping is active).

Show deltas

The Show deltas icon button activates comparison mode. Each stat cell shows the current value alongside a delta arrow (↑ or ↓) versus the previous equivalent period.

The previous period is fetched with the same duration but capped at the same elapsed point — a partial current period is compared against the same partial slice of the prior period, not the full prior period.

Relay column tags

Each entity type shows different tags in the Relay column. All tags are conditional — they only appear when the underlying value is set or non-zero.

Publisher:

  • Auction timeout count (only when enabled campaigns count > 0)

  • Restriction count (sum of restricted buyers + restricted targets + restricted Sub-IDs)

  • Sub-ID tag indicator

Campaign:

  • Sub-ID tag indicator only

Buyer:

  • Enabled / total targets ratio (only when buyer has targets)

  • Cap indicator

  • Restriction count

  • Invalid phone/ZIP count

Target:

  • On/Off indicator (always shown)

  • Issue tag — red for critical issues, orange for non-critical

  • Cap indicator

  • Restriction count

  • Invalid phone/ZIP count

Selection actions

Check one or more Target rows to activate the selection action bar at the bottom of the page:

  • Enable selected — enables relay on all selected targets

  • Disable selected — disables relay on all selected targets

  • Add to filter — adds the selected entities to the active entity filter

Enable selected and Disable selected only apply to Target rows. Add to filter works for any selected entity type (Publisher, Campaign, Buyer, or Target).

Cell context menus

Hovering over a stat cell in the Accepted, No Coverage, Rate Limited, Rejects, Errors, or Unknown columns reveals a context menu with links to related views:

  • Calls — opens the Phone calls page filtered to matching calls

  • Pings — opens the Pings page filtered to matching pings

  • Coverage — opens Coverage filtered to the entity

Exporting

Click the Export to CSV icon button to export the current table view. The export walks the full entity tree recursively and includes all 35+ stat columns. The exported data matches the current filter and grouping exactly.

Limitations

  • The Custom Period date range has a maximum lookback. Very long date ranges may not be supported; check the date picker for available limits.

  • Delta comparisons use partial-period matching. Viewing an incomplete day compares against the same elapsed slice of the prior day, not the full prior day.
